8" Harness Kira Eel's
Purposly made for casting for Tuna and Halibut as well as other big game fish.
These have hand-airbrushed finishes to
the jig head and select tails for a more natural baitfish appearance, helping trigger strikes from wary tuna.
Traditional jigs use a cotter-pin connection, which can fail under extreme pressure. We replaced it with a 2X stronger stainless steel hook connection and molded an oversized ball-bearing swivel into the nose for maximum durability and movement.
The tails have a very tight and fast tail action just like a fleaing bait fish To engourage reaction strikes.
How To Use:
Kerplunk: Allow the Tuna Harness Jig to reach the desired depth, then employ a quick jigging motion to attract attention.
Slow Twitch: Lift the jig slowly, then let it fall with a controlled drop to mimic struggling prey, triggering reaction strikes.
Speed Twitch: For active tuna, maintain a steady jigging cadence to keep the jig in the strike zone and encourage pursuit.
